|I am a 19 year old man, and I am a Filipino. also, bisexuality is such a stigma in my country. bisexual men are called "maya" or "silahis" here.
I have come out to my parents and my best friend whom I see as a brother, and I look up to him because he has changed for the better and he's my inspiration to change as well. they all accepted me for what I am, thankfully.
Also, I'm not sure if my two older brothers will ever accept me for who I am, especially my middle brother. He is so homophobic that he almost ran over a group of gays that tried to hit on him! o____O I mean being fearful of scary gays is understandable, but attempting to run them over is just too far!!!
BUT MY PROBLEM IS...how do I come out to my other friends without involving my best friend? because me and my best buddy are so close, people think we're an item and we both hate being recognized as lovers.
I'm worried that when I come out to my other friends and my family members, they might shun me, and they might bully my best friend, and I don't want that to happen. I love him like he was my own brother and I'm trying to protect him by not coming out. I don't want him to be humiliated.
ALSO, I also fear that girls will not accept me because of my sexuality. girls who like bisexual men are really rare. it's hard to find an open-minded woman in this country.
