I appreciate that. I guess I'm just looking to chat with people who can accept me for who I am. I am out to most my friends and family, but I live in a very isolated place, and there is no one here who knows I'm bisexual and it gets lonely. I've been to Maine before, great place. Hope we chat again soon.
I just recently came out entirely, I was surprised as to how accepting people were. I do live in a very liberal area tho. Thank god for the internet, where we can build a community of accepting people from anywhere.
Coming out is never easy. I am bisexual and it is hard to explain what that means to straight people, and I have also been treated with antipathy from some gay men as well. People think being bisexual is best of both worlds, let me tell you that is a myth.
Oh god, do I know it. Being bisexual with heavy preference for women sometimes I just tell people I'm a lesbian, it's just so much easier. The backlash bisexuals get is a problem that needs more attention and is just not ok.
I agree, but even with the internet it's still tough. I met a guy the other night, a one night stand, but there is no one I can even talk to about it. It's like part of me is locked up. Does that make sens?
Hi, Marshmallow here. It does make sense that you would be locked up. If you feel uncomfortable and confused about who you are I can imagine it would be really hard to articulate how you are feeling. You have to start somewhere - say something about it.
Heeeey Isaac, I'm in the same boat as you! While my town isn't small, there is zero LGTB activity so I feel pretty lonely...
And I am open minded and bored out of my mind so maybe a conversation can be nice...?
