My name is Natalie Sergent, and I am a doctoral student in the School of Psychological Sciences at the University of Indianapolis. I am conducting a research study to examine the relationships between body image, body mass index (BMI), and sexual functioning in the lesbian community, under the supervision of my advisor, Dr. Nicole M. Taylor. It is our hope that the current study will aid us in gaining a better understanding of how the relationships between these variables within the lesbian community will compare to results already established for the heterosexual female population.
