I want to propose to the girl I love, but I'm the "femme" girl of the relationship. She's the "masculine" one, but does it really matter who proposes to who? I know it's different for everyone but I wanted some honest opinions from within the lesbian community. I live in NYS and she lives across the lake in VT, so technically we could actually get married in either state, but it'd most likely be in VT considering her family is more supportive. I'd like honest and positive opinions please.
I honestly don't think it matters if your the one proposing. If your more "feminine" then it might make it a bit more emotional. However, it still would be adorable. As long as its done by you and your with her, it doesn't matter. She loves you, so I'm sure she'll accept even if your proposing, not her.
Who knows, maybe she might have been waiting for that!
