Has anyone experienced or witnessed extreme cases of homophobia in school. I live up in Canada so I've seen very little, nothing more then "that's gay" or people saying "fag" while being too stupid to know what they're actually saying.

What have my fellow LGBT youth been through at school? You silly adults can post what you went through back in your youth too. :q

Life's a piece of s**t when you look at it! Life's a laugh and death's the joke, it's true. You'll see it's all a show, keep 'em laughing as you go. Just remember that the last laugh is on you!

Of course. It's a lot worse down here in Tennessee, which is in the bible belt. I'm bisexual (and an atheist, to top it off) and I've been called things like "dyke", "devil worshipper", "fag", and I've been told that nobody likes me and that I should go kill myself. I'm grateful that I have a strong circle of friends. My family doesn't even know I'm bi, because they're extremely homophobic/biphobic/transphobic. I'll tell them when I'm a legal adult and when I have a decent job and income in case I need to move out. LGBT-phobia is terrible everywhere :(
